To disable automatic updates for HP printers using 63XL / 65XL, 60/60Xl, 61/61XL, 62/62XL, 64/64XL
From Printer's Interactive Display Screen:

1.        Swipe screen to the left, and press "Setup"
2.        Press "Tools"
3.        Press "Update the Printer"
4.        Press "Printer Update Options"
5.        Press "Do Not Check"
6.        Press "NO" to confirm that you do not want the printer to download updates.

CANON
To disable automatic updates for Canon TR4520 (PG245X / CL246XL)
From Printer's Interactive Display Screen:

1.        Press the "Tools" button (wrench icon)
2.        use arrow buttons to find "Device Settings." Press "OK"
3.        use arrow buttons to find "Firmware Update." Press "OK"
4.        use arrow buttons to find "Update Notification." Press "OK"
5.        use arrow buttons to find "OFF." Press "OK"

EPSON
To disable automatic updates for Epson printers
From software on computer:

1.    Right click Epson printer icon in Windows  taskbar
2.    Select "Auto Update Settings"
3.    Select "Never"
4.    Click "Apply"
5.    Click "OK" to exit
